One of the first CrossFit Akron athletes, Claudia takes fitness seriously. Don't let her petite frame fool you though, Claudia is strong. Strong enough to lift her entire weight overhead. Go ahead, picture it: Claudia Carrying a Claudia. The great thing about her success is that she's worked hard to get to this point, past ACL surgery won't stop her from fulfilling all of the goals she's set for herself whether it's at CrossFit Akron or in any other aspect of her physical fitness. As Claudia beautifully says it: "I'm seeking progress, not perfection." Progress is just a drop in the bucket in comparison to what she's achieved since completing the I AM CrossFit Challenge, let alone the progress she's achieved since joining our box. How do we know this? She went above and beyond the challenge goals by completing 12,600 sit ups (which are clearly visible, by the way) maintained her weight, yet still lost 3.7% in body fat. This is probably due to the hard work she put in by increasing her CINDY stats and maintaining a Paleo diet for 60 days. Claudia's display of physical and mental strength is everything we stand for at CrossFit Akron, anyone can do it, as long as you continue to seek progress as Claudia says.
