Whole 9 Challenge Ken and Cathy Riedel

(Whole 9 website) CrossFit Akron athletes put their bodies to the test for 30 days. We've had nothing but success.     The Whole9 Life program has completely changed the way we eat. We learned that not all chicken breasts are the same, veggies are delicious (especially cooked with sliced almonds), and 100 ways to prepare organic free range eggs. Our tastes have changed by eliminating diet coke, orange juice, desserts, and alcohol. We no longer have sweet cravings. We don’t miss dairy products but enjoy a glass of coconut milk.
Going to the grocery store is a new experience. It’s amazing how many processed foods take up 80% of the store. On a weekly basis we buy the same staple items of fruits, veggies, coconut milk, organic eggs, unsalted nuts, natural chicken breasts, and grass fed steaks.
The results say it all! This nutritious program; of course combined with an awesome CrossFit Akron program allows us to feel stronger with more energy! 
In only 30 days I dropped a clothes size and lost 2% body fat. Ken successfully gave up his addiction to diet coke, gained 7lbs of muscle weight, and lost about 6% body fat. We look and feel trimmer, which is especially good for the summer months. We look forward to staying with the Whole9 Life diet and CrossFit program to continue our lifestyle of good health.
